As a chapter leader in a service organization for women, I help plan and implement charitable and practical service, classes and projects. Such projects include sewing quality, sustainable feminine hygiene kits for girls. See http://www.daysforgirls.org/.
I also offer leadership development training to teenage girls. The girls learned to lead by encouraging other girls, learning and presenting survival skills, developing public speaking skills, planning and overseeing a charitable service project. The girls directed the completion of over 60 quilts which were donated to the Children’s Justice Center.
